About Us — Our Mission, Vision, and Origin

PREVAIL Ministries is an organized Christian movement that mobilizes Christians to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20)—making disciples of all nations, baptizing in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teaching obedience to Christ’s commands. Grounded in God’s word, the Bible, we equip believers for victorious lives through quality discipleship, spiritual warfare training, and unity among believers. We raise mature leaders who boldly uphold biblical truth over cultural norms, intercede for all saints, and multiply kingdom impact—focusing on quality and depth like Jesus’ model with His 12 disciples. Our primary focus is on the next generation of youth and young adults—particularly those who are eager to have a relationship with the Lord.

  1. Love God Fully (Matthew 22:37-38): With heart, soul, and mind—the greatest commandment. 
  2. Worship: Worship God passionately and let Him transform you as you give Him all the glory.
  3. Respect the Word: As the unchanging authority revealing God’s character; no one stands above it. 
  4. God’s Perspective (1 Samuel 16:7): Focusing on the heart, not outward appearances. 
  5. Walk Worthy (Ephesians 4:1-3): In humility, gentleness, patience, and Spirit-led unity. 
  6. Pour into Others: Love others and invest in other believers with a church-first mindset for generational multiplication. 
  7. Unity Through Humility (Philippians 2): Bearing burdens, seeking understanding, and building genuine community.

Our Vision and Impact Goals

  • 1-Year Target (2026): $10,000 in donations; 100 members receiving training; growing resource library; traction on social media.
  • 3-Year Target (2028): $250,000 in donations; 100 active leaders; complete curriculum and resource library; strong social media presence; thriving online community; in-person events and outreach; partnerships with other organizations; prayer resources; scalable operations. 
  • 10-Year Target (2035): A go-to Christian resource for quality discipleship, evangelism opportunities, and spiritual warfare. 10 million people impacted through evangelism, global systems, communities, resources, and a proven multiplication model.

Founder’s Story

PREVAIL Ministries was founded by Elijah LeFavour in 2026.

At 18, Elijah went on staff as Worship and Youth Minister for a small church in Las Vegas. At the close of the first year, everything suddenly changed when the senior pastor was caught living two lives and forced to resign. Elijah was left as the only employee for the next 4 months, fulfilling both his own responsibilities and most of those left by the senior pastor.

During this time, Elijah developed boldness in preaching the word, earnestly sought after the power of God, and received miraculous deliverance from demonic oppression. Two days after receiving deliverance, he led someone else through the same process of forgiveness, repentance, and exercising our authority in Christ.

But as the church tried to move forward, two groups slowly formed—some church members had stepped up to volunteer, but others reached for power. Disunity was rampant, and the Lord’s instructions on how to reconcile (Matthew 18) were ignored despite pushback.

As Elijah watched disobedience and internal conflict slowly tear a church apart, the Lord was leading elsewhere. This difficult season developed him in new ways and fanned into flames his passion for intentional discipleship. After the Lord led him in creating the PREVAIL discipleship acronym, Elijah took another leap of faith and launched PREVAIL Ministries in early 2026. He is thankful for the many people that helped in the process and provided encouragement along the way, and he’s excited for all that the Lord is going to do!
