Turn from Sin and Live in Freedom

“R” in PREVAIL stands for Repent. As we build an intimate relationship with God, His kindness should lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4), and His power can free us from bondage.

Key Focuses:

  • Forgiveness: Forgive others, knowing what Jesus did for you on the cross. Unforgiveness is an open door to demonic oppression. (Matthew 18:33-35)
  • Confession: Confess your sins both to Him and to other believers so you may be forgiven and cleansed. (1 John 1:9)
  • Deliverance: Break free from demonic oppression and patterns of sin in the name of Jesus. (Luke 10:19)

Sin separates us from God, even after we’re saved. Addressing sin biblically allows us to continue growing closer to Him.
